Water pollution and greenhouse gases Print E-mail
Water
pollution and greenhouse gases are one of the biggest concerns that we
are facing and have been facing for many years. But things are getting
progressively worse. These things are doing serious damage to our
world, and having great effects on the way that our heath and
lifestyles. It's a big enough problem that the government is now
finally attempting to do more about it than they ever have. Exactly
what they are going to do is still not available, but under the new
Clean Air Act they plan to greatly reduce the amounts of greenhouse
gases by 80%. The goal has been set for the year 2050.
Global warming is a big concern because of the many problems that it
has already begun creating such as heat waves, reduced freshwater
supplies, coastal flooding, harmful air quality, and many infectious
diseases are just a few of the problems that we are facing. These
things are only going to continue increasing. The water pollution and
greenhouse gases are destroying the way that we live and every thing
that lives on it. Water pollution is a problem that man created. We
contaminate the waters through raw sewage, chemicals, and fertilizers,
and then we complain about the consequences that are directly related
to this. Both water pollution and greenhouse gases need to be dealt
with, and it is something that we all must take part in fixing. The
more water pollution the more bacteria and viruses we face. The more
greenhouse gases the faster the earth will heat and the more disasters
we will face. There are things that we can all begin doing that are not
difficult for us to do in any way. They are more of something that we
must get used to doing. You can find many of the simple things that you
can begin doing immediately right online, just look for a list of ways
that you can begin going green.
Going green is certainly nothing new, but it is not something that
enough people are participating in. We are facing many disastrous
things in our future and the future of our children's children. Water
pollution and greenhouse gases continue to threaten us, and will
continue as long as we are not doing the things that we need to be
doing. Are you ready to see what you need to do? Just begin looking online
and see the health risks that are associated with both water pollution
and greenhouse gases and it will frighten you right into doing the
simple things like carpooling, conserving energy, buying recycled
products and recycling.
