It still amazes me that there are many alternatives that we could be doing that would greatly reduce the greenhouse gases that are continuously being produced. But yet we continue to drive our gasoline filled cars that produce a large amount of greenhouse gases for every gallon that you burn. Just think how often you are filling up your take. You probably remember exactly because every time that you get to the pump the price seems to be hire than the day before. A single gallon of gasoline will produce 19.4 POUNDS of greenhouse gases. All that I have to say is greenhouse gases and ethanol! There are alternatives to greenhouse gases and ethanol is one of them. Corn ethanol will emit far less greenhouse gases than gasoline does, but yet it's been years since this study has been proven and we are still paying top dollar for gasoline. Ethanol from grasses also reduces the greenhouse gases. We are pumping the air with large amounts of greenhouse gases when we could reduce that number down 95% by choosing to switch over to ethanol. These greenhouse gases and ethanol studies are solid, but yet here we are spending $100 each time we go to the gas station to fill up our cars, and from that 100 gallons of gasoline we are producing 1,940 POUNDS of greenhouse gases, from one single car. If that was ethanol the greenhouse gases would be about only 97 pounds. Do you see the difference? This isn't a new concept to us, we have been producing ethanol for thousands of years, and have it down to perfection. You can uncover a great about of information about greenhouse gases and ethanol right online. There are studies that will be eye opening, and things that will scare you to death. The most important thing is that you are making sure that you understand what is going on right around you. The effects that greenhouse gases are having on us are scary. The future doesn't look too good for the entire world. There are many places around the world that are already feeling the effects of this global warming, and at the rate at which this is occurring is much faster than anticipate. This is because of the damage that we are doing on a daily basis. We have a way to reduce the greenhouse gases and ethanol is one of them. So why are we not making the switch? I understand that nothing is as simple as that, but it's been years that we have known this and nothing is even in the works. |
