Just about everything that we do in any area that we may live is going to produce massive amounts of greenhouse gases. How greenhouse gases are made in urban environment are no different than anywhere else in the world, except for the fat that they are producing more than many other area's. This is a major problem across the board, and something needs to change in order for things to get better. There are a large percentage of greenhouse gases that are produced from just a single home, and when you have large buildings of apartments the numbers increase dramatically. There are tons of things that we can be ding to help reduce the amounts of harmful gases, it's just a matter of adapting to these necessary changes. How greenhouse gases are made in the urban environment is not going to be the first change that happens, it's going to take us to do what we can. The start can be the buildings that are being build should use recycled building materials rather than cutting down more trees. Trees are the reason why we have oxygen, and at the rate of which we are cutting them down we are unable to grow them to match. Many efforts are in the works to help reduce how much greenhouse gases are being produced. The government has been working on a plan that will reduce 80% of the greenhouse gases by the year 2050. Hopefully this plan has a way to fix how greenhouse gases are made in the urban environment. Everything that we do plays a part in this problem, and if we do not begin taking action the global warming will continue to threaten us. How greenhouse gases are made in the urban environment is not nearly as important as what you can do to help reduce the amount that you are using on a daily basis. Your car alone produces large amounts of carbon dioxide. Every gallon of gas that you use to drive to work and back home will produce 19.4 pounds of carbon dioxide and that's just a single gallon of gas. I am sure your travel time to and from work uses up more than one gallon of gas. This doesn't mean that you will need to stop driving entirely, but there are things that you can do such as car-pooling with people from work. You can find a number of websites that have large lists of the things that will help to reduce the amounts of greenhouse gases that you produce. Read them over and begin doing the things that you can. |
