Global agriculture greenhouse gases are a major contributor of the worlds emissions. They are accountable for 58% of the gases that are pumped into the atmosphere. That is a large amount and it's a scary number. There is no doubt that something needs to change and it needs to change fast. When you drive across country what do you see most often, farms. They are everywhere that you look in certain parts of the country and not to mention across the world. Now when you see them you can remember that they are a huge part of the problem of global warming. There are many people that claim that the global warming is a natural occurrence and the things that we are doing and putting into the air doesn't have anything to do with what is going on. That's half right, we might not have caused this problem but we are certainly adding too it. Think about the greenhouses that are heated by greenhouse gases and the sun. We are living in a greenhouse. There are many natural things on the earth that do produce greenhouse gases, such as volcano eruptions. So we are not able to stop it all entirely but we can reduce the amounts that we are doing on our own. Global agriculture greenhouse gases are a great place to start. Organic farming is one of the best ways that will greatly reduce these harmful and alarming amounts of greenhouse gas emissions. One of the reasons why global agriculture greenhouse gases are so high is because of the amount of chemicals that are used in the fertilizer, which is why organic farming is the obvious choice. The soil stays richer without the fertilizer that seeps into the food and into our bodies. Things need to change and it's up to us to make the changes that need to be made even if these farms do not choose to make the changes that they need to make. There are many great things that we can do, there are hundreds of websites and maybe even more that will show you exactly what to do. One of the most important things that we need to start doing is conserve, recycle, conserve and recycle. This is the key to reducing the amounts of greenhouse gases that we are emitting. You can find some great information online regarding the global agriculture greenhouse gases, and some of the efforts that are in the works to help make the changes that need to be made. Nothing is in effect as of yet, but governments have been working hard on developing alternative methods to many of the big emissions such as agriculture and factories. |
