Biofuels and greenhouse gases are minimal compared to many other types of fuels that emit large amounts of greenhouse gases. Biofuels will burn a cleaner gas which means that they emit far less greenhouse gases than that of say gasoline. There are many much better types of things that we can use that would not produce large amounts of greenhouse gases such as corn ethanol, cellulosic ethanol and sugarcane ethanol, which are all biofuels. There are many myths surrounding biofuels and greenhouse gases, for example people claim that biofuels are just as bad as gasoline and other types of fossil fuels in terms of the amount of harmful greenhouse gases that it emits. This is absolutely false. You can find a ton of information online and offline showing these amounts and you will find that cellulosic ethanol will offer the greatest amount of reduction in greenhouse gases that is emitted into the air. It's so important that we find ways to reduce the large amounts of harmful gases that we are pumping into the air on a daily basis. This is not a national problem, its world wide and will take everyone doing their part in order to change the dangers that we are facing. You can see the many effects that are already being due to the temperature rising, and it's going to continue to get hotter and hotter with each passing year. Things have begun and the destruction of the natural ecosystems has already begun because of the many things that we do from farming, building homes, running our homes, driving to work and the list can go on and on. Is there help in biofuels and greenhouse gases? We don't really know, but what we do know is that there many things that we can do to reduce what we do. I hope that they will implement biofuels and greenhouse gases will begin to slowly go down. This will definitely make a huge difference along with the many efforts that we as individuals and worldwide are doing as well. Our homes emit huge amounts of greenhouse gases because of various things. We need to conserve energy within our homes. You can achieve this by ensuring you keep lights off, that the television is set to sleep mode at night, and that you have florescent light bulbs throughout your home. This is just the little things that take some getting used to but are really not difficult to do. Find more online, look for going green lists. You will find many of them. |
